By submitting your deposit on a Backcountry Found Adventure backpacking tour, you agree to be bound by the below terms
and conditions. All trip participants must complete a trip Release and Hold Harmless Agreement and Medical Form prior to the
commencement of the tour.  Strenuous trips may require a consult with a Backcountry Found Adventures' guide or release
from the participant's physician.

Pre-Trip Participant Responsibilities
Medical considerations: All pertinent medical conditions must be disclosed to Backcountry Found Adventures staff prior to trip in
order to allow for proper arrangements, as required.   Backcountry Found Adventures reserves the right to disqualify participants if it
is deemed unsafe for individuals to participate.  

Backcountry Found Adventures is not a medical facility and therefore has no responsibility regarding medical advice or medications
that you or your doctor deem necessary for your safe participation.  Hospital facilities for serious problems are often unavailable,
and evacuation can be prolonged, difficult and expensive. Backcountry Found Adventures assumes no liability regarding provision
of medical care. By signing the Release and Hold Harmless Agreement, you agree to pay for emergency evacuation and
emergency medical care.

Trip Participants Responsibilities
By participating in an Backcountry Found Adventures trip, you assume certain obligations to Backcountry Found Adventures and the
other trip members. It is your responsibility to:
  • Understand the Backcountry Found Adventures Class Difficulty Scale (Class 1 - Class 5)
  • Select a trip appropriate to your interests and abilities
  • Prepare for the trip by familiarizing yourself with the trip itinerary and trip preparation materials
  • Bring appropriate gear and clothing
  • Follow considerate social behavior with other trip participants and respect their habits
  • Complete the trip itinerary as scheduled (or as adjusted by your trip leader as necessary)

Backcountry Found Adventures Limitations
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes in the itinerary where deemed advisable for the comfort and well-being of trip
members. By submitting your deposit to Backcountry Found Adventures, the payee thereby agrees to be bound by the above terms
and conditions

If a Participant Cancels A Trip . . . A full refund (minus the deposit) will be given if a trip is canceled at least 90 days prior to the trip
dates.  If the trip is canceled within 60 days of the trip dates then all payments submitted must be used as Backcountry Found
Adventures credit towards another trip.  All trips subject to cancellation due to weather, disaster or trip not meeting minimum
participant capacity.

If Backcountry Found Adventures Cancels A Trip . . . Backcountry Found Adventures reserves the right to cancel a trip for any
circumstances beyond our control. We also reserve the right to cancel any trip if sign-up is inadequate to make the trip economically
feasible for us to operate. If this happens, we give a full refund.  Backcountry Found Adventures is NOT responsible for additional
expenses incurred by you in preparing for the trip.
